2010 Kid’s quilt for Camp Whatcha-Wanna-Do
Posted Saturday, January 2nd, 2010 in Quilting | Tags:
As a member of Appleseed Quilters Guild, I am expected to make a quilt each year for Camp Watcha-Wanna-Do. It is a week long summer camp for children who have been diagnosed with cancer or brain tumors. The theme for 2010 is Wild Things.
This is the quilt that I will take to the January guild meeting. It is a ‘Turning Twenty’ quilt that I made from fat quarters I received in a FQ exchange on the internet. It has been in my closet since I quilted it in 2005. When the theme was announced, I knew which quilt I would donate this year.
