Essence quilt made from a turnover.
Posted Thursday, November 26th, 2009 in Fabrics, My Projects | Tags: , essence, Shipshewana
I bought the turnover and a coordinating panel when I went to Shipshewana with 2 friends. I cut the panel into squares and set them on point for the center of the quilt. The first border is made from the turnover.
I call this quilt Essence because it is the name of the fabric line.

Hi LInda! Found your blog today! I love looking at your quilts! This was the one that Tom really liked- I think he likes the browns and golds….. Kelli came over last night and we got the blocks put together for the baby quilt! I have a question on how to square up the 4 blocks now…some are a little different size! See you soon!

Found it! The on point setting makes for a striking quilt.
