Happy Quilting Stars Quilt-Along Table Runner

Posted Sunday, September 25th, 2011 in My Projects, Scrap Quilts, table runner | Tags: , , , ,

This table runner was made of scraps from the Modern Row Robin quilt-along that I participated in earlier this summer.  The binding will  be scrappy.

I finished this top last evening to take a break from the Double Wedding Ring quilt that has consumed my sewing time this summer.

Love it! I also had to step back from a large project and just enjoy a simpler one.

Beautiful! Would have also made a nice addition to the row quilt, huh?

I love this table runner and have a few questions:
did you make it from a pattern and if so can you reference that for me please?
how many different fabrics did you use?
what finished size is the runner?
what size squares did you cut to make 1/2 square triangles?
sorry if too many questions but trying to see how to make it.
Thank you

Hi Patricia,
Thank you for visiting my blog. I made the table runner from blocks in a quilt-along in 2011. I used scraps from another project and I’m not sure how many fabrics I used. Here is a link to the patterns. They are from the Stars quilt. I made one of each pattern for the table runner. The finished runner is 15 X 60 inches. I hope this answers your questions.
